Terms of Service

The agreement between you and HealthForge when you use the app, its Apple Watch and Wear OS companions, and this website, including the rules for sharing with other people.

Last updated 17 September 2026

In short

  • Fitness guidance, not medical advice. Scores, estimates and AI summaries can be wrong. Talk to a doctor before starting something new, and stop if it hurts.

  • Your account is yours to look after. Keep your sign-in secure and your details accurate. Messaging is for people 18 and over.

  • Zero tolerance for abuse. No harassment, hate, sexual content, spam or impersonation. Breaking the rules can get content removed or an account suspended.

  • You own what you post. You let us store and show it only so HealthForge can work.

  • You can leave any time. Delete your account in the app, or ask us to.

1About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and HealthForge when you use the HealthForge app for iPhone and Android, its Apple Watch and Wear OS companion apps, and this website. In them, “HealthForge”, “we” and “us” mean the team that runs HealthForge, and “you” means anyone who uses it.

By creating an account or using HealthForge, you agree to these terms and to how we handle your information in our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use HealthForge.

2Who can use HealthForge

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • If you’re under 18, or under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
  • Messaging other people is only for people aged 18 or over, based on the date of birth in your profile.
  • The details you give us, including your date of birth, must be accurate.

3Health and safety

HealthForge is for general fitness and wellbeing. It isn’t a medical device, and it doesn’t give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

  • Your recovery score, fitness age, calorie estimates and AI summaries are estimates from the data available to the app. They can be wrong, so don’t rely on them for medical decisions.
  • Check with a doctor before starting a new program, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or haven’t exercised in a while.
  • Stop exercising and get help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

You choose how and when you exercise, and you’re responsible for doing it safely.

4Your account

  • You sign in through Auth0, our sign-in provider. Keep your login details secure and don’t share them.
  • You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
  • If you think someone else has access to your account, tell us straight away at support@healthforge.app.

5Community rules

HealthForge has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. These rules apply to everything you share with other people, such as your social profile, your activity and your messages, as those features arrive in the app.

Don’t post or send anything that

  • harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates someone
  • attacks people for who they are, including their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender or sexuality
  • is sexual or contains nudity
  • involves or sexualises anyone under 18
  • encourages self-harm, eating disorders, violence or dangerous activity
  • shares someone’s private information without their permission
  • is spam, a scam or deliberately misleading
  • pretends to be someone else
  • is illegal, or infringes someone else’s rights

How the rules are enforced

  • Public profile text is checked automatically before it’s saved.
  • Wherever the app shows you other people, you can report them and block them.
  • We review reports promptly. We may remove content, suspend an account or delete it, without warning where we think it’s needed, and may report illegal content to the authorities.

6Your content

You own what you create in HealthForge: your workouts, your profile, your photos and what you write.

You give HealthForge permission to store, copy, display and send that content, worldwide and free of charge, only as needed to run HealthForge and show it to you and to the people you choose to share it with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the copies our Privacy Policy says we keep, such as what someone reported.

You’re responsible for what you share, and you must have the right to share it.

7Using HealthForge fairly

Don’t:

  • access other people’s accounts or data
  • copy, scrape or automate access to HealthForge, or put an unreasonable load on it
  • get around its security, its limits or its rules
  • reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it
  • use HealthForge for anything unlawful

8Premium features

Some features may be available only with premium access. We may give premium access, change what it includes, or end access we gave. If we ever charge for it, we’ll show you the price and terms before you pay, and a purchase through the App Store or Google Play also follows that store’s terms.

9Apple, Google and your devices

HealthForge works with Apple Health, Health Connect, Apple Watch, Wear OS and Bluetooth heart-rate monitors. Those are provided by other companies under their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for their availability or for the accuracy of the data they provide.

If you got HealthForge from Apple’s App Store

  • These terms are between you and HealthForge, not Apple. HealthForge, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app doesn’t meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund what you paid for it, if anything. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • Apple isn’t responsible for any claim about the app, including product liability, a failure to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, or a claim that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property.
  • You confirm you aren’t in a country under a US government embargo, or on a US government list of restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and may enforce them against you.

10Changes to HealthForge

We may add, change or remove features, and may pause HealthForge for maintenance. We work to keep it available, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

11Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app, on the You tab, with Delete account, on our delete-account page, or by emailing support@healthforge.app from the address you sign in with.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or where it’s needed to protect other people or HealthForge. Where it’s appropriate, we’ll tell you why.

12Our responsibility to you

To the extent the law allows, HealthForge is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury from exercise you choose to do.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded, or limits any liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

13Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the app. If you keep using HealthForge after a change, you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can delete your account.
